A linkspring are the rails w/bottom support that attaches to the daybed frame by bolts. It already has bottom support, so that a boxspring is not neccesary.

A trundle is an excellent addition to any daybed. It is a roll out/ hide away bed (mattress not included) that fits snuggly under your new daybed.
